This Countryside Stewardship Higher Tier supplement provides £1,346 per hectare per year for the appropriate cutting management of wetland habitats, including reedbed and fen, to benefit the environment. How much will be paid

£1,346 per hectare (ha) for each hectare where wetland vegetation (reedbed, fen or other wetland vegetation) is cut in the agreement year.

Where to use this supplement

Available for Countryside Stewardship Higher Tier

Only with one of the following options:

This supplement cannot be used solely for cutting scrub. Scrub will need to be removed prior to using this supplement to cut and remove the wetland vegetation.

It supports the appropriate cutting management of wetland habitats.
