tips_and_updates Additional Advice
- Use on sites establishing a species-rich priority habitat, most appropriate for species-rich grassland and floodplain meadows actions.
- Can be used with wet grassland actions if there’s good potential to establish a species-rich priority habitat and provide bird habitat.
- Consider soil type and target habitat when choosing a seed mix, which should consist of species common in your area.
- Source wildflower seeds and plug plants of native British origin locally where possible, and use only native British grass species for grass seed.
