This Countryside Stewardship action, AB6 Enhanced overwinter stubble, provides important winter food sources for seed-eating birds and foraging/nesting habitat for other farmland birds and pollinators by retaining stubble from cereals, oilseed rape, or linseed until 31 July of the following year.
