tips_and_updates Additional Advice
- Pick locations like fields connected to at-risk water bodies, designated sites failing due to diffuse water pollution, or fields with soil erosion risk (slopes >3 degrees).
- Choose equipment that directly loosens compacted soil, improves surface infiltration, increases roughness, and creates diagonally offset holes 7.5cm to 16.5cm deep.
- Use the equipment with correctly inflated tyres, either during the first machinery pass or soon after.
- Consider using this item with other measures like in-field grass areas or double headlands to further reduce soil erosion and water runoff.
